it is , the three way speed controller from the Volcano 7+ . If like
me , you wanted the speed controller from the Volcano 7+ , here it
is , own its own , PN-A1268 and its available now in Australia
. I tested the fan
speed controller with 6 different fans , 60mm Black label Delta ,
60mm YS-tech , and some 80mm fans as well as a 120mm fan . It worked
just fine with all fans tested . You asked for it ( well I did ) and
here it is , no more DIY variable speed fans , no soldering , just
plug in your fan and chose Full , Medium , or low speed , and away
you go . Life was meant to be easy , and with Thermaltake bringing
out products we want , what can I say . Just
in case you were wondering the switch works in thirds , Med being
about 2/3 and low being around 1/3 in a power range of 100% to
about 40% from max at the lowest setting ,
so use this switch with the most powerful fan you can find to make
the best use of it , as 40% of a low powered fan might not do much
at all . |
